Tom Parrish, 88, of Flushing holds a copy of his uncle, Sgt. Silver K. Parrish's dairy of his experience being a Polar Bear soldier in arctic Russia during WWI. Sgt. Parrish diary was used in a film about the Polar Bear soldiers.
I've been shooting a lot of portraits lately.... oh and hockey.
