thanks! no, unfortunately the one laying on the yellow line is a goner but, we gave him a nice resting place off the pavement in a mc donald's fry box... :/
oh no! this is a sad sad story... i would enter this in the feature contest for the nppa next month!
and i'm sending this photo to my friend garrett who might be able to know what kinds of birds these are...
