Holly, these are amazing. The color and clarity are amazing. The close up face portrait is kind of creepy. I never thought chickens had so much personality....and read the paper. Were you really as close as it appears?

Thanks for your comment! Yeah, I was very close to the big ol bird, he was very calm. I only had a 17-50mm wide angle on my camera at the time. It was at the zoo here in town and a volunteer had him out for petting during an event I was shooting. I couldn't resist.
